The Fall Brown Trout
Club Stocking is Saturday, September 21!
We’ve gotten rain, cooler days and nights and anglers have been really doing well fly fishing throughout The Stretch.
Thanks to your support all year, the Brown Trout Club has ordered a hatchery truck load of beautiful German Trout for Saturday, September 21st.
We sure could use some help, so if you are so inclined, meet Tom Finkbiner in the parking lot of Wolfe’s General Store/Slate Run Tackle Shop on Saturday at 11 a.m.
The September 21st stocking and that of the PFBC, scheduled for October 1st, will augment the already good numbers of carry overs from earlier stockings. Anglers visiting The Stretch will then be able to look forward to a good eleven weeks of great fall fly fishing through November.
Thanks again to all who supported the Brown Trout Club this year. Every person who visited the Shop and invested their $10 and above in donations is very much appreciated. So too are the generous cororate donations like those from Straub Brewery of St.Marys, Pennslyvania and others.
Enjoy the fishing, but don’t forgot that the Brown Trout Club will need to start the fund raising all over again for 2020!
